Start with a comparable scope
Choosing a shipyard starts with a defined mission and operating profile. Capacity, propulsion, equipment, class requirements, budget and target delivery should be clear enough for yards to respond to the same brief.
Assess the complete proposal
Our sourcing coverage spans 75 shipyards across 24 countries. We match relevant capabilities to the project and work towards a focused shortlist. A headline price alone does not describe the full offer: equipment, exclusions, engineering responsibilities, approvals and delivery assumptions need to be compared together.
Agree the next stage
The shortlist gives the buyer a basis for discussions, technical review and, where appropriate, a shipyard visit. Our sale and purchase service includes maritime legal guidance, with buyers free to appoint their own counsel. The final scope, milestones and acceptance requirements are set out in the agreed contract.
